Frederic Remington's long friendship with William F. Cody, led to several visits to Cody's Wild West Show. He used these visits to sketch various western subjects. This image, along with several other illustrations, was used in Cody's biography Last of the Great Scouts written by his sister Helen Cody Wetmore. Print measures 21 1/4" x 15".
