The paintings of Albert Bierstadt (1830-1902) often encouraged Americans from the East to come West and experience the unique western landscape and life. Bierstadt once loaned the original of this painting to the White House. His work, in turn, inspired President Chester A. Arthur to travel to Yellowstone National Park in 1883 and see the wonders for himself. This print measures 36" x 26."
